[/li][li] AP[/b] is set in Melilla, Spain (a real island off the coast of Spain and Morocco) in the year 2008. Your character may be from any country, state, or continent you wish but please put in the history how your character arrived to the curent setting.
[/li][li] Activity is a must for members of AP. Everyone finds themselves muse less sometimes, but members are expected to post at least three times a week, and more if they have more than one character. Regular activity checks will be held, after which all inactive members, along with their characters, will be deleted or put in the archives. Because of this, please let me know when you're going to be away by PMing me, emailing me, or posting in the absentee board.
[/li][li] Show respect for fellow members and especially staff. There will be no racist or sexist or homophobic remarks made to other members, and no arguing about pointless things. If you have a problem with a member, take it to the staff.
[/li][li] Every account must have an ICON of the celebrity that is portraying the character (a signature is optional but if you do chose to have one it must be of your character). If you cannot produce any of this please tell the staff so they may get you an icon. ALL ICONS MUST BE 100X100[/b] no bigger or smaller and signatures/banners SHOULD NOT STRETCH OUT THE FORUM.[/b] If you need one, please post a graphic request and I'm sure someone will gladly make one for you ^-^
[/li][li] The time frame for applying for an application is FOUR DAYS after you have posted-unless you have spoken to me or another staff member. After four days, your app will be put in the rejected subboard.
[/li][li] You may only be rejected THREE TIMES[/b]. Obviously since it didn't work the first three times, it isn't going to work on the fourth, so do not bother posting another one-it will immediately be rejected. After three tries-it is quite obvious the site isn't working for you. In my opinion, 100 word minimum histories are not complicated-in fact-that is actually short. So if you can not accomplish that, then this site is not for you! Please find another rpg that will be easier. DO NOT WASTE MY TIME OR THE STAFF'S TIME. thank you ^-^.
[/li][li] The rules to the cbox are pretty self explanitory. No overly cursing, sex, fighting, rasicsm, etc. in the cbox. I think everyone is mature enough to know what is right form wrong in a cbox...So I won't post the rules up-it doesn't mean they do not apply and that they will not be enforced! In fact-it is like a test to see if you can even handle being on this site. Seriously. You can have fun in the cbox-just don't spam or advertise on it. It's annoying.

[/font]characters[/size])[/size][/center]- Members may only have one account per character. Their display name must be the name (first AND last) of their character with the ALL LETTERS CAPITALIZED in the first and last name.
[/li][li] Pictures of your characters must be real-life photos. Although anime pictures are very beautiful, they often do not depict the stature of real people. Also, it is difficult to imagine them integrating into modern society.
[/li][li]Celebrity pictures are accepted only.[/b] This means that, yes, internet models such as Hanna Beth and Audrey Kitching are allowed and yes, photographers such as Lara Jade are allowed. But do not use yourself. You are not a celebrity. And if you are-why are you wasting your time roleplaying when you should be off pleasing your adoring fans?![lol]
[/li][li] Characters may have pets, but these cannot be role played by other members.
[/li][li] Canon Characters: Canon characters are pre-made characters. You may reserve a canon character for up to four days unless you have spoken to the administrator. For canon characters you still have to fill out a character application and you still have four days to do so. And if you decide to take up a canon character, make sure you are even more active than usual-because those plots are what makes the site!
[/li][li]This is a modern day rpg. The time setting is the year 2008 so all technology available today is what will be available. There are no flying cars or anything like that. Be realistic.

[/font]roleplaying[/size])[/size][/center]- All posts must be written in third person and in past tense. A few spelling mistakes here and there is okay, but if you cannot master standard grammar, this is not the place for you. Use the spell check, and don't write in chat speak when role playing. You must also make detailed posts. It's impossible to reply to a one-liner. ONE LINERS ARE NOT ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES I understand if you get writer's block. Either speak with the person you are roleplaying with or just do not reply until your muse comes back. Also, use periods, exclamation points, quotation marks, and apostrophes [etc] in the necessary places! When a character is speaking, make sure you either bold the words they are saying or use "quotation marks" so everyone understands your character is actually saying something. All thought must be italicized to avoid confusion.

[/li][li] If you want to reserve a thread for a certain member, by all means put their name in the title. However, if the thread is open, do not put "Open" in the title[/b]. Any thread is considered open unless it contains a member's name or has "Closed" in the title.
[/li][li] Okay, so you may have joined AP with a friend, but don't just role play with them. It gets boring if all your threads, relationships and conversations revolve around one member, and it's good for you to try role playing with members of differing role play styles. So, don't always reserve posts for your friends.
[/li][li] Do not double post in threads. The only occasion when this is allowed is if you need to bump a thread, and you must only bump if the thread is inactive for more than five days [this does not apply if there are no more threads made in the same board within this time].
