and I'm here to stay. A girl moved forward, her lithe, pale body sliding forward through the pathway. Thick brown waves piled down around her face, quick wisps of dark hair around everywhere. Her pale blue eyes aimed forward as she walked. She moved quickly, lips tense as she reached her final destination. She smiled as they reached the large meadow of a park, oh, did she forget to explain they? On either side of her was a large irish setter, the color of dark red, each had on a long leash and a thick collar. The girl strode in to the park, she didn't exacally have that different of a look to her, just average clothes really, a pair of designer dark blue jeans, a red halter top, and a pair of converse on her feet. Her small body moved swiftly as she glanced forward at a large green grass field. Her name? Alice Dessderra Raintree, otherwise known as one of the virtues, Paitence, but i wasn't like she went advertising that. On her sides where her two purebred setters, Dia and Kahn. She reached down, pressing the clip to open the leash off for the dog, a smile slid on her face as the two dogs started sprinting around the trees in the field.
Alice slid down a nearby oak tree she was sitting on her butt. Her back leaning against the large trees brown trunk. She pulled a black bag from her back, the backpacks large form was laced down, showing the more amount of weight it carried. She smiled and looked up to see Dia watching her, Kahn was over peeing on a nearby tree. "Share D." Alice muttered, pulling a tennis ball out of the bag and throwing it accross the meadow. She stood up with a slight smile on her face as the dog returned the ball, she threw it again quickly before reaching up and pulling a few leaves from the tree. She placed the colored leaves next to her, how she loved the different greens and reds that the trees produced. She always took a few with her every time she came with the dogs, and she had quite a bit of a collection going at home. She moved downward and carefully sat herself on the ground.
Home, really, was it home? She hadn't considered anywhere home for quite a long time. She had a home at first with Thomes and Alison, but the home became a hell when Alison commited suicide. Many though that Alice had a soft past, one that had hardly nay death or deceat. I mean, she was a virtue, they where supposed to have the good lives, right? How wrong it was. She had a crappy life so far anyways. With no love, and being shuffled between places. Of course, she had the false love of one night stands and such, it was almost a release though, the one night stands, they made her feel somewhat normal, not that of a virtue. She moved her hand up and scratched the large setters ears, before throwing the soggy tennis ball again.

I never said I was powerful, I said I was a wizard.
Patricio Alemania, the notorious and famous editor of The Prodigal Times, walked through the park, his fingers running through his smooth blond hair. He had a few rings on his slender fingers, all silver of Bronze. His ever present cross necklace hung low onto his chest and the sin formally known as Lust seemed completely in his own world, a bit oblivious of the attention he was getting from the wandering eyes of males and females-both single and taken. Did he seem to care? Of course not. Right now, he was looking down at the newspaper, reading over some some of the columns. Of course he didn't read absolutely all of them. He had people who did that for him.
The main pages he was always concerned with were located in Politics which, thanks to him, made it to the very first page every single week. Why? Because he was sleeping with the chick that basically owned the whole thing-his boss. Hey, she was hot, she got a free fuck, and he got all his stories-whatever he wanted-printed out on the very first page. Of course noone knew that she had taken a liking to him. Hell, he really didn't care, yet again.
The eyes of the people were suddenly becoming a distraction so he slipped into a nearby meadow, just so maybe he could actually read what was going on this week. A high of 80...
And the President announcing that security of the island will be increased. Ha! People were bound to get a kick out of that. Couldn't they see how controlling their government was? They weren't even a democracy! It felt more like a dictatorship! And those damn virtues thinking this was the way to keep people happy? In a fake Utopia full of fake smiles and fake emotions? No one was happy caged.
Even some of the virtues could understand that.
They were just afraid that once they opened the gates, the birds would fly away.
He didn't seem to noticed Alice, one ofthe virtues he wasn't really too knowledgable of-but that he definetly had a lot of, was with her two dogs in the same meadow. He had stopped right in the middle and was looking down at the column, a smirk on his face. All they had to do was keep printing this stuff out and soon enough the public would definetly start to notice...
Hopefully.

and what do you say? Alice glanced up when she noticed that Dia and Kahn had stopped handing her the slobbery tennis ball, she had a sketchpad in her lap and was trying to word one of her newer songs. She jumped up when she noticed a sin standing in the middle of the park. Heck, she didn't care that he was sin, less that she cared she was a virtue. They where just pawns for the gouvernment, the ones who didn't even allow her to travel. Alice missed France, hell, she missed just plain old freedom of being able to go wherever she wanted. Here they where in some sort of Utopia, some place that was pretending to be perfection, but really was just under the dictation of the gouvernment, and some of the virtues. Alice knew the gouvernment would be totaly ticked if they found out one of the larger virtues, paitence, didn't even like the way that this place worked. Her silver eyes snapped back in time to see Kahn run forward and thrust his head at the man's pockets, like he was harboring food. Dia followed with the other side. Alice felt her pale skin start to go red as she jumped upwards. She moved quickly, swift, dancer-like movements bringing her to the dogs quickly. She grabbed htem both by the collars and held them back, before clipping on their leasshes so they couldn't leave her sides. "Oh! Sorry. They usually are pretty good dogs, but you caught them in their play time." She spoke, her low voice soft and swift with the touch of her french origins playing over her words.
She racked her brain to put a name to a face, she was relativily sure that the sin was Lust, and the guys name was...Patricio? She was taught to know all of the sins and virtues, the gouvernment made her, but when the tutors came she barely payed attention, mainly she had the PSP under the table and pretended to be listening and nodding. The tutor usually left bit ticked when she had no clue what they had just talked about, but she would just remind him something about being paitent, he'd laugh and leave, big whoop. It bored her to tears. Annoyed her a bit too, since she didn't exactially choose to be the face of Paitence. Alice stuck out her hand in greeting, both the dogs leashes in her other hand. "I'm Alice." She introduced herself. Natural, knee-jerk reaction really, she also liked to think that nobody knew her, that she was just the pretty, quiet girl down the street, not Paitence, one of the seven virtues. Hey, a girl can dream, can't she? Being normal wasn't a thing people usually wanted, but here in Melila, normal was everywhere, but of course, the one person who desired normal for the first time didn't get it. Of course not.
ooc: not one of my bests, but my muse isn't that grand right now.

I never said I was powerful, I said I was a wizard.
Patricio seemed calm when the dogs suddenly appeared next to him. He foleded the newspaper in his hand and looked down at them but didn't smile. His face looked serene and he himself looked completely laid back-and he was surprised at himself for not being annoyed at the virtue before him for interrupting his reading.
No, Pat didn't know who she was. He knew she was a virtue-Patience to be exact. But he didn't know her. The sin and virtue thing was simply a title that circulated amongst those who did know about them and the sins and virtues themselves. All they did was practice the art of persuasion. Wether it be sexing them up or simply consoling them to be more...patient.
"Don't worry about it," Patricio had a british accent. He was born in England, stayed there for a while, before getting stuck in Melilla and since he was stuck here, he made the best out of it by pissing off the government with all the articles he had printed in the newspaper every Sunday. It was the first thing the people did when they got out of mass-get the newspaper.
As she introduced herself, he held out his free hand and shook her's,"Patricio," he wouldn't give her some little nickname to call him. She could be like everyone else and call him Patricio. Only certain people were allowed to call him Pat or Patch(Patch being very rare) and those were his little favorites. Those few fuck buddies he would return to every now and again whenever he was pissed or something-to take his anger out through angry sex.
Hey-they say it is the best kind and with Patricio added-it most definetly is.
But he highly doubted sweet little Alice would know anything in that department.
Of course, when Patricio spoke, his voice came out smooth, lust hinted around the ends-but he seemed to make no move to hit on her. No, he wasn't afraid of some little virtue. He just didn't want to. He wasn't exactly in the mood, for once, for sex or a quick fuck. He had too much on his mind.
"Pleasure to meet you, Alice" again it came out like liquid gold or velvet.
"What brings you to the park, little virtue?" he stated simply as he glanced down at her. She was beautiful-he would not lie about that. But he was temptation-he could easily control it. And though he couldersuade other, again right now would not be the time to persuade a girl who looked like she was what...? Sixteen? To have sex with him in a meadow. Nah.
Wait two years and he would fuck her in a heartbeat.
